Jennifer Culpepper and Melissa Carstensen, QueenBee’s two founding partners, met in 1991 while attending Pennsylvania State University. Following graduation, they worked like busy little bees in cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore & Washington DC, and won lots of awards from publications and associations like Graphis, Art Director’s Club, Step Inside Design and Print Magazine.

In the year 2000, backed by years of creative success and their desire to create and inspire, the duo took a collective deep breath and brought QueenBee Studio to life. It would become a place where freedom would rule— freedom to provide smart ideas, freedom to inspire, and freedom to be extraordinary.
